The Role

The Product Owner participates in standard Scrum activities including stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning. The Product Owner is responsible for signing off on features to ensure they meet the agreed upon acceptance criteria and overall market need.

What You’ll Do

  • Actively participate as Product Owner in our cross-functional teams
  • Prioritize work based on the overall strategy and business objectives. Additionally, the product owner will need to map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development.
  • Become a subject matter expert in ImplantBase’s technology platform and develop an understanding of the needs of the engineering teams
  • Communicate the vision and goals at the beginning of every release and sprint
  • Compose user stories for implementation
  • Provide prioritized stories from the product backlog to the agile teams and participate in team planning meetings
  • Provide advice, clarification, and guidance during the execution of each Sprint
  • Ensure that the Product Backlog is constantly prioritized to secure delivery of maximum business value
  • Review sprint and accept or reject user story completion based on acceptance criteria
  • Identify, track and manage risks, and escalate when necessary
  • Organize sprint and milestone demonstrations with stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned by management


Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2-4 years of related experience as Scrum Master, Product Manager, or Product Owner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong project management skills

  • Competitive salary between $105,000 and $115,000 based on experience, and annual increases based on performance
