The Role


The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department.

What You’ll Do


  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR department
  • Become a key member of our team, supporting our business in several HR functions, including the following: benefits administration, payroll, HRIS management, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment/onboarding, security and compliance
  • Assist with coordinating onboarding logistics to ensure new hires have a first-class experience
  • Assist with implementation of HR procedures and processes
  • Accurately file and maintain confidential employee documents, records and databases utilizing Bamboo HR
  • Provide talent acquisition support, including drafting job descriptions, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks and reference checks
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs and events to help improve the employee experience
  • Assist with setting up meetings and scheduling of events
  • Offer suggestions, new ideas or alternatives to improve or modify work processes
  • Support the organization's security and compliance initiatives- HIPAA, SOC 1 and 2, Diversity and Inclusion, Harassment Prevention
  • General administrative tasks
  • Special ad hoc projects as needed


Who You Are


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Interest in a career in Human Resources, with at least one year of experience 
  • Your energy brings positivity to the workplace and inspires those around you
  • You have a to-do list for your to-do list, but are also able to pivot quickly while managing dozens of responsibilities in an ever-changing, fast-moving environment
  • You take pride in keeping things extremely organized and always meeting deadlines
  • You understand that multiple interruptions during the day comes with supporting a team
  • You are process driven, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourceful team-player, with the self discipline to work independently
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion

  • Competitive salary between $50,000 - $55,000 annually commensurate with experience, with annual increases based on performance
