Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager (PM) will oversee the planning and implementation of the ImplantBase software platform (and associated enhancements) for new customers.  The Senior PM may also be assigned to lead internal initiatives for ImplantBase. The Senior PM will interact with customers to ensure that they are leveraging the ImplantBase product properly and drive forward improvements to the product to match the evolving demands of our customer base. 

 

General Accountabilities

  • Accountable for overseeing all aspects of Project Management including: Scope Management, Time Management, Project Integration Management, Risk Management, Resource Management, Cost Management, Communications Management, and Stakeholder Management.
  • Lead planning and execution of projects from initiation through production launch/Hypercare
  • Lead customer facing Business Process Analysis (BPA’s), to establish the foundation of business requirements and project scope.
  • Develop “as-is” and “to-be” customer process flows, to ensure the pathway towards development and integration specifications is clear.
  • While steering customers towards best practice and standard ImplantBase functionality, also identify needs for custom functionality and unique integration requirements.
  • Work with the Development teams to define functional requirements and create the necessary Feature-Requests and associated detailed customer specifications.
  • Produce Service Orders that clearly document ImplantBase engagement commitments and associated charges, and work with customers to obtain budgetary approval and signature for ImplantBase scope of work.
  • Produce, update, and execute comprehensive projects plans that identify all elements, owners, timelines, and dependencies required for a successful implementation.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Customer Success team to ensure a smooth hand-off coming out of Hypercare and into Customer Success.
  • Work creatively and analytically, while demonstrating leadership, innovation, and excellence.
  • Be flexible with shifting priorities, and help Leadership understand trade-off’s in priority setting.
  • Create, maintain and brief project status reports
  • Creation and maintenance of project plans and detailed project schedules with verified resource demand plans.
  • Ensure that timelines are up-to-date and that tasks are being completed on time
  • Interface with customers, internal, and external team members to drive tasks on the timelines to completion
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture details of meetings/events, and distribute meeting notes and action items to relevant parties
  • Conduct/coordinate customer training
  • Support business process improvement efforts with other skills, as necessary (creative, writing, process improvement, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Information Systems or related field
  • Experience: 3-5 years of industry related experience
  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred (desire to obtain CAPM or PMP certification required)
